ようこそ日本へ！3.31留学生オリエンテーションとキャンパスツアーを開催/Welcome to Japan! New International Student Orientation & Campus Tour

3月31日（火）、環境学研究科4F国際室ラウンジにて「新入留学生オリエンテーション」を開催いたしました！
新たに日本での学生生活をスタートさせる留学生たちが一堂に会し、期待と少しの緊張が入り混じった、活気ある一日となりました 

On March 31st, we held an orientation for our new international students. It was an exciting day as students from around the world gathered to begin their new journey here in Japan.

今回のオリエンテーションでは、皆さんが安心・充実した学生生活を送れるよう、以下の重要なトピックについて説明を行いました。

履修登録と研究学修について

• 学位取得に向けた履修の組み方や、専門的な研究・学修を進める上で欠かせない学内ルールについて解説しました
• Course Registration & Research: Key guidance on how to register for classes and vital information for academic success and research.

緊急時の対応

• 地震などの災害や、急な病気・トラブルに遭遇した際の連絡体制など、日本での安全確保について改めて確認しました。
• Emergency Preparedness: Important protocols on what to do in case of natural disasters or emergencies to stay safe in Japan.

国際室文化交流イベントの紹介

• 国際室からは、今後開催予定の日本文化体験や交流イベントについて案内がありました。学業だけでなく、多様な文化に触れる機会も大切にしてほしいと考えています。
• Events at GSES International Office: An introduction from the International Office regarding upcoming cultural events and opportunities to connect with the local community.

先輩たちとのキャンパスツア

説明会の終了後は、在学生の先輩たちがガイドを務める「キャンパスツアー」を実施しました。

図書館や学食といった主要施設を巡りながら、先輩たちは「研究の合間のリフレッシュ方法」や「キャンパス生活のコツ」など、学生ならではのアドバイスを伝授。最初は緊張気味だった新入生も、ツアーが終わる頃には先輩や仲間と打ち解け、和やかな雰囲気となりました。

Following the information session, our senior students led a guided campus tour. Small groups explored the library, cafeteria, and student offices together.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the new students to ask questions about daily life on campus. The tour was filled with lively conversations and smiles as the seniors shared their personal tips and experiences, helping the newcomers feel more at home.

最後に 新たな環境でのスタートには不安も伴いますが、大学スタッフと先輩たちが一丸となって皆さんをサポートします。実りある留学生活になるよう、共に頑張りましょう！
