GSES International Office held a short-term overseas study program “Indonesia Green Leadership Program 2024” from August 30th to September 6th, 2024 at the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), a partner university in Indonesia.
Eight students from GSES with various majors participated, and conducted a variety of activities such as:
- Lectures on the environment
- Interacting with ITB students
- Fieldwork on volcanoes and mangroves
- Experiencing batik, and touring coffee and tea plantations
Through valuable experiences and interactions with kind and warm Indonesian people, we could deepen our learning and greatly improve our understanding of different cultures and the communication skills.

環境学研究科国際室では、2024年8月30日-9月6にインドネシアの協定校であるバンドン工科大学（ITB）にて、短期海外研修「インドネシア・グリーンリーダーシッププログラム2024」を実施しました。
環境学研究科の様々な専攻の学生8名が参加し、講義受講、ITB学生との交流、火山やマングローブへのフィールドワーク、バティック体験やコーヒー農園/茶畑の見学など、多様な活動を行いました。
インドネシアでしかできない貴重な経験を通じて、より実践的な環境への学びを深めることができたとともに、優しく温かいインドネシアの方たちとの交流を通して異文化への理解とコミュニケーション力を大いに高めることができました。
