国際室は6/28（金）に「減災館見学ツアー」を開催しました！
環境学研究科の日本人学生がサポートしながら、専門家によるギャラリートークを受講したり、地震や津波、防災について学ぶことのできる装置などを体験し、減災について多角的に学ぶ時間を過ごしました。
特にギャラリートークでは、参加学生から積極的な質問があり、専門家に地震や津波について直接聞くことのできる貴重な機会を存分に生かすことができました。
地震の多い日本に生活する上で、その仕組みを理解しておくことや少しでも被害を減らせるよう減災について知っておくことは非常に重要です。
今後も定期的に減災館ツアーを開催し、日本人学生・留学生がともに学ぶ活動をサポートしていきます。
GSES International Office held a “Disaster Mitigation Tour” on June 28th (Friday)!
With the support of Japanese students from GSES, the students spent time learning about disaster mitigation from a variety of angles, attending gallery talks by experts and experiencing equipment that allows them to learn about earthquakes, tsunamis, and disaster prevention. .
Particularly during the gallery talk, the participating students actively asked questions and were able to take full advantage of the valuable opportunity to hear directly from experts about earthquakes and tsunamis.
Living in Japan, where earthquakes occur frequently, it is extremely important to understand how they work and to learn about disaster mitigation so that you can reduce the damage as much as possible.
We will continue to hold regular event like this and support activities where Japanese and international students can learn together.
